Join us for International Women’s Day at Fanshawe!

International Women’s Day (#IWD2025) is Saturday, March 8, and this year’s theme is Accelerate Action – a worldwide call to acknowledge the strategies, resources and activity that positively impact women’s advancement, and to support and elevate their implementation. Learn more by visiting the International Women’s Day website.

Celebrate International Women’s Day with Fanshawe on Monday, March 10, 2025, as we host an inspiring event featuring guest speaker Haze Schepmyer. This event will focus on embracing change in life-event transitions, leveling up leadership, rediscovering oneself, and recreating identity.

Haze will host a workshop for employees from 10 to 11:30 a.m. and one for students from 1 to 2:30 p.m.

These workshops can help individuals explore opportunities to #AccelerateAction for #IWD2025 at Fanshawe and beyond. This two-way conversation will highlight tools for accelerating individual and collective action in specific life events where women’s advancement continues to be a theme.

The discussion will focus on five pillars:

Where does your Flow go?

Where is your Focus?

How often do you check your Fuel?

How firm is your Foundation?

Do you feel like you’re on Fire?
